He received his PhD in economics from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania and holds a Master of Science degree in finance from the University of Leicester (*pronounced Lester) in England. His research interests include the social determinants of health, sports economics,  and measuring economic well-being in counties and metro areas. He writes a weekly economics column in Augusta Business Daily.\n \nPlease RSVP if you would like to attend. \n
