DESCRIPTION:\nPlease join us at our next educational and networking meeting!  Economic forecasting has become a very hot topic lately.  There is certainly no shortage of commentary on the national and international landscape, but what about locally?  Come hear for yourself and maybe get a question or two answered.\n \nSimon Medcalfe has been a professor at Augusta University since 2008 where he has taught a variety of economics and finance courses. He received his PhD in economics from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania and also holds a Masters in Finance degree from the University of Leicester (*pronounced Lester) in England. His research interests include the impact of residential racial segregation on health outcomes and measuring economic well-being in counties and metro areas.
